Prof. Dr. Sae Byeok Jo [조새벽] received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Aug. 2014. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Washington, USA, until May 2020 and then as a research professor at Yonsei University, Korea. He is an assistant professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at Sungkyungkwan University (SKKU), Korea since 2022. He is a chemical engineer and material scientist, creating rational designs of next-generation molecular opto-electronic systems thru his expertise on polymer physics, semiconductor physics, synchrotron analysis and ultrafast spectroscopy.
